Guardian Home Opportunities

Our goal at Pumpkin Creek Kennels is to create healthy, happy and adorable puppies while still making sure our dogs are living their best life. Our dogs are our family pets (our kids) and part of keeping them happy and healthy is to make sure we don't have too many to divide our attention between....let's face it our king size bed only holds so many. With that goal in mind we created our Guardian Home Program. This program allows for a dog in our breeding program to live with it's family permanently and come to visit us when it is breeding/whelping time. Some small breeders have to rehome after their dam or sire is retired from breeding to allow space for the breeding program to continue....well, we love hard and would never be able to give up those dogs, because they are family....insert Guardian Homes. This program allows for us to be able to add dames and sires to our breeding program but allows the puppies to live at their forever home with their forever families. When they are 2 years of age and pass all their heath evaluations, they get to take a mini vacation (once a year for 3 years) and come hang out our house with our amazing pack, and get spoiled rotten.
